Scott Lawlor returns to earthMANTRA with an epic triple-longform journey "The Space Between".

Written between 2015-2016, the three pieces that make up "The Space Between" chronicle a journey through the deepest parts of our universe. Starting at the farthest reaches, the listener travels the silent corridors between astral bodies, moving slowly ever closer to home. It's the kind of album that only Scott can make - a slow-evolving soundscape that perfectly encapsulates the feeling of deep-space flight.

Commentary from The Gateless Gate:

'Scott Lawlor has tackled every kind of ambient music in his career, even new age. He can do dark and noisy or light and airy. In his work there is a palpable sense of emotion and passion that is often lacking in the work of lesser talents. “The Space Between” is at first listen classic space drone with roots in Steve Roach’s work, long-form pieces that take a long time to develop (a bit like travelling between galaxies, I’d imagine), but allowing the music to wash over him or her, the listener will gradually notice subtle tonal changes that make this experience much more than merely “ambient” in nature; there is spiritual information to be absorbed here.'
